⇒ How to Install in Thunderbird

DSN Settings is an add-on for Mozilla Thunderbird 3 which provides user interface settings for Delivery Status Notification (DSN) requests.

DSN backend is already integrated in Thunderbird 3. This add-on provides settings to control DSN requests.

Configuration

Global settings

• When sending messages, always request a delivery status notification from the server
• Advanced Settings button

Advanced Settings window:

• Request to be notified when:
  • delivery is successful
  • delivery failed
  • delivery is delayed
• Request to never receive any notification

• Request to attach to delivery failure notifications: only message headers / full message

Account/identity settings

The default identity of each account can be customized by overriding global settings in Account Settings window.
